The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on the 1^st Day of the Mega Auction bought back the likes of Dwayne Bravo, Robin Uthappa, Deepak Chahar, and Ambati Rayudu. CSK spent Rs 4.40 crore on Dwayne Bravo, and Rs 6.75 crore on Ambati Rayudu, to procure the services of both players respectively. While Uthappa was bought at Rs 2 crore.

For Deepak Chahar, there was a massive bidding competition and war with teams like Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad fighting out with Chennai Super Kings. However, to get the services of Deepak Chahar the men in yellow went all out and splashed Rs 14 crore. On the first day, CSK also bought another two players Tushar Deshpande and KM Asif at Rs 20 lakh each.

On the Day 2 of the IPL mega auction 2022, Chennai Super Kings buys all-rounders. The MS Dhoni-led outfit bought the likes of Shivam Dube at Rs 4 crore, Mitchell Santner at Rs 1.90 Crore, Dwayne Pretorius was bought for Rs 50 lakh, and the newbie Rajvardhan Hangargekar at Rs 1.50 crores. Maheesh Theekshana the Sri Lankan cricketer was bought at Rs 70 lakh.

The men in yellow spent a good amount to procure the services of Adam Milne who was bought at Rs 1.90 crore, Devon Conway at Rs 1 crore, and finally, Chris Jordan who was bought for a sum of Rs 3.60 crore.

Surely with MS Dhoni leading the newbies who have been added by the Men in Yellow in the mega auction of the Indian Premier League 2022.
