World-Class Indian Pacer Deepak Chahar is expected to be available for the IPL 2022 by the mid of April. Chennai Super Kings has purchased him for a huge amount of Rs 14 crore in the mega auction of IPL 2022.
Chahar got a quadriceps tear while playing against West Indies. According to the doctors, Chahar will not undergo any major surgery. He will recover very soon and will be fit to play for defending champions Chennai Super Kings.
Chahar walked off to the pavilion after getting an injury on his right leg while playing the third T20 against West Indies. Till then he brilliantly picked two West Indies batters, Kyle Mayers and Shia Hope. Eventually, he was out of the squad for the Sri Lanka Series and now will miss the major part of IPL 2022.
The star pacer is the second most expensive buy at the mega auction of IPL 2022 after Ishan Kishan. There was a battle between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings to Buy Deepak Chahar. Later he was bought by Chennai Super Kings for a huge amount.
Chennai Super Kings is the first franchise to begin their training camp before the start of the League. The men in yellow started their camp in Surat on 23rd March. And the team is all set to start their IPL journey by clashing with Kolkata Knight Riders on 26th March.
Deepak Chahar is currently undergoing 8 weeks of rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. The franchise and the captain cool MS Dhoni want Chahar to join them in Training Camp as early as possible. Apart from Chahar, Chennai Super Kings also bring together their other players like Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo.
Deepak Chahar is one of the best bowlers in IPL. He has played 63 matches so far and was lucky to pick 59 wickets with an average of 29.18 and he also has an economy of 7. 80.
