One of the major changes that BCCI made is an increase in the DRS (Decision Review System) Reviews per innings. The number of reviews per innings for a team has been increased from one to two.
BCCI informed the franchises that in one innings the number of DRS has been increased from one to two. That means now captains will get two opportunities to save their teams from umpire’s wrong decisions. If these chances are used in the wrong way then it will affect the Fairplay points of the team. IPL fans are very excited about this IPL new Rule.

The board of control for cricket in India has also inscribed the recommendations from the Marylebone Cricket Club regarding the new batsmen taking strike in case of catch out irrespective of the fact that they have crossed the crease or not.
BCCI gave notice to the franchises about new in which they stated that upon a catch out irrespective of whether the other batsman has crossed the crease or not the new batsman will take the strike. And this scenario will not come into action if it is the last ball of the over. Fans are a bit disappointed with this IPL new rule.

At the same time, BCCI also made a huge decision reading the Super Over. BCCI decided that the team that is higher on the ranks table in the league phase will win the game in case a super over is not possible to decide the winner of a tie Match. This rule is also applicable for the final match of the season as well. This IPL new rule is a huge decision made by BCCI.
