Ahead of IPL 2022, MS Dhoni has decided to transfer his captaincy to one of the best players of CSK. Ravindra Jadeja will take over the responsibility of skipper for this season. The decision was made just two days before the tournament.

Ravindra Jadeja is one of the best all-rounders when it comes to the T20 format. Nobody can doubt his contribution towards CSK but the thing is he has never experienced the taste of captaincy at a senior level. However, he has led the under-19 India team in 2007.
Recently Jadeja has jumped to the no.1 spot of an all-rounder in the ICC test rankings after his heroic knock against Sri Lanka in Mohali. When we talk about his fielding there are very less players better than him.
MS Dhoni is well known as Captain cool because of his calmness. Under his captaincy, CSK has won 4 IPL trophies and entered the playoffs in 12 seasons. In his Matches Played: 220 in which he has won 139 matches and lost 86 matches. When it comes to his batting performance he has scored 4746 runs with an average of 39.5 and holds a strike rate of 135.8.
As discussed earlier that Jadeja is one of the best all-rounders in T20 format. He has contributed to CSK in all aspects, with the bat he has scored 2386 runs in 200 matches with an average of 27.1 and holds a strike. When we talk about his bowling he has successfully picked 127 wickets with an average of 30.05 and holds an economy of 7.61.
