IPL Team Jerseys: IPL’s 15th edition is set to begin on 26th March. The upcoming season will be the new beginning for all teams. AS BCCI allowed the existing 8 teams to retain a maximum of four players each. Because of this, all teams underwent massive changes.
All franchises tried to re-gain their released star players at the mega auction but not all were successful. Hence, prior to IPL 2022, all the franchises have a new squad. To make things even fresher some franchise has launched their new jerseys.
Unfortunately, three of the 10 IPL team jerseys have a similar design of kit that is worn by other franchisees or any International teams. Below we have mentioned those IPL teams.
Royal challengers Bangalore launched their new jersey in an event named unbox RCB on 12th March. The new IPL 2022 jersey of Royal Challengers Bangalore has a similar design and color combination to BBl’s Melbourne Renegades. Australia’s Big Bash League is popular among cricket enthusiasts all across the world. Apart from having world-class players, the league is also famous for its interesting and attractive team jerseys.
The RCB fans have noticed that the RCB’s IPL team jersey for the 15th edition has the same design and color combination as Melbourne Renegades has. RCB has decided for a gradient touch in their IPL team jersey this time instead of maintaining a golden border between red and black colors.
This jersey looks a little similar to the red and black Melbourne Renegades jersey kit.
The Delhi Capitals owned a bluish jersey in the previous three IPL seasons. Same like Royal challengers Delhi Capitals launched their new IPL team jersey on the same day. But this season Delhi Capitals have decided to add the red gradient to their team jersey.
Soon after their jersey launch, fans figured it out that it looked almost the same as England’s T20I jersey. Some fans even joked that the Delhi Capitals players would soon join up with England’s National team to play for them in International Cricket.
Sunrisers Hyderabad launched their IPL team jersey for the 15th edition long back. This season instead of using orange and black equally the franchise decided to keep their jersey in full dark orange color.
Accidently Big Bash League franchise Perth Scorchers also made similar changes to their Jersey. Earlier Perth Scorcher used to wear light orange and black jersey. But in the last season of BBL, they changed the color to dark orange with a little touch of black. Sunrisers Hyderabad has also chosen the same color combination.
